Dirt Bike Promotions is a family company run by the Sargents, who have been involved in the motorcycle industry for more than 27 years. The Sargents initially became involved in the industry with their business Sargent's Motorcycles, which was based at Orange, and later through son Phil's success as a motocross and supercross racer. The family then started Dirt Bike Promotions, which has been running for 10 years and is driven by Phil and wife Samantha, Phil's sisters Treena and Joe (and Joe's husband Chris) and parents Jan and Bruce as well as several dedicated friends and associates who are all part of the family.

Dirt Bike Promotions run several successful series and championships, including the Yamaha Stadium Motocross Series, the Yamaha Australian Off-Road Championships, the NSW Junior and Senior Motocross Championship and (jointly with Lyndon Heffernan of Detour Adventure Tours) the Hog's Breath Cafe Australian Four Day Enduro.

Dirt Bike Promotions continually strive to raise the profile and level of motorcycle competition in Australia by running professional, championship events that are spectator friendly, while still offering good value for money and fun riding for competitors.
