Entries are now available on-line for Dirt Bike Promotions (DBP) opening round of the 2010 Stadium Motocross Series (SMXS) at Queanbeyan Showground on January 9th.
Now in its tenth year the SMXS has cemented itself as a popular series attracting riders from Nippers right through to Pro Open & Lites riders.
Entries are filling fast as spots are limited with only 24 riders for each class this year a new format that DBP hopes will please riders.
“We asked riders what they want and they want more ride time on the track and track designs more like Supercross.
“We have structured the series to take less riders as to make more time available on the track for racing.
“I have designed tracks that are tight in sections with rhythm jump sections, but still some fast flowing sections, which many riders like as well.
“The tracks have to cater for a wide range of ages and abilities so it makes it tricky to get the happy medium, and hopefully I have done that,” Sarge said.
The race format is as follows - Non Competition Classes will consist of three Demonstration Races x 5 Laps, Support Senior Classes & Junior Class will be three Finals x 8 Laps and the Pro Classes will have three Finals x 10 Laps.
Round One kicks off in Queanbeyan, a venue that over the years has proven to be a popular for spectators and riders alike.
DBP has also re-vamped its webpage www.dirtbikepromotions.com.au and it is much more user friendly for the rider to enter on-line along with getting the latest in SMXS News and Results, thanks to Rosie Lalonde Graphic Design.
So before you slow down over the Christmas break, make sure you get your entries in so you don’t miss out!
The series boasts classes for any rider with a National Motorcycling Australia license from nippers to juniors and clubman, women’s and pro lites and opens.
