Orange Stadium Motocross a technical and flowing track

Several media outlets were in attendance today in anticipation for tomorrows second round of the Stadium Motocross Series, and with a technical fast flowing track were privy to some awesome action.

Dirt Bike Promotions (DBP) organiser Phil Sargent wanted to build a challenging track to give riders that Supercross feel. The track consisting of double jumps, woop sections and step on step off jumps.

“Riders want to be challenged and especially the younger upcoming talent, I hope this type of track with help build and nurture those skills needed for Super X.

“It’s great to get the local country media support the event, and towns like Orange, Bathurst and Maitland have always generated loads of media exposure, it’s great for us, the riders and especially the sponsors,” said Sargent.

Orange Pro Rider Mathew Cox said he loved the track, “the track has some awesome technical sections it’s definitely one of the best stadium motocross tracks I have ever ridden, I can’t wait for tomorrow.”

Shane Booth’s training school was also being run today, with Shane spending some time this morning giving the run down on how to tackle the tricky stutter section.

Riders and spectators can follow the racing action with regular updates to our website www.dirtbikepromotions.com.au thanks to our new web maintenance company webgrow, “we will be able to have up-to-date results, photos and media releases more regularly now, and we hope to give some of our juniors and clubman riders some more exposure too,” expressed Sargent.

Racing starts tomorrow at 9.00 a.m. with the pro classes hitting the track from midday.
